Types of forklift tires and their respective advantages
There are many different types of forklifts as they are designed to be used for a variety of purposes. A suitable forklift tire is needed to ensure that the vehicle performs to its maximum driving force. Mainly divided into two types: pneumatic tires, solid tires
pneumatic tire
The first type of forklift tires - pneumatic tires. Pneumatic tires are tough and durable, like the tires found on most heavy-duty trucks. They are often used to help forklifts handle rough terrain with ease. They are made of strong, thick rubber with deep tread. These forklift tires are filled with air and help provide air cushioning between the forklift and the ground for the forklift to last longer.
Solid tire
Some forklift tires are made of solid rubber. Although they look like pneumatic tires, they are not filled with air as they are made entirely of solid rubber. These tires last a long time without popping or becoming deflated like pneumatic tires.
