How to deal with steering system failures for electric forklifts
First, the steering gear leaks oil.
The reasons for the failure of the electric forklift are:
1. Oil leaks from the joint surfaces of the steering gear (valve body, partition plate, stator, rotor). The solution is to replace the sealing ring, clean the steering gear, joint surfaces or better strengthen the bolts;
2. The sealing ring at the journal or the relief valve is damaged. The solution is relatively simple, which is to improve the sealing rings at the journal and the relief valve;
3. The washer at the limit bolt is uneven. The solution to this situation is to grind the washer flat or use a better washer.
Second, the steering fails.
Analysis of the causes of the failure include:
1. The steering gear spring piece is broken or the steering gear pin shaft is broken and deformed. It may also be that the coupling opening is broken or deformed. The solution is to improve the spring piece, pin shaft and coupling;
2. The safety valve fails. The solution is to clean the safety valve and replace the spring.
3. The steering cylinder leaks too much. The solution is to replace the seal or the cylinder.
