The Inspection of Diese Forklift Drive Axle Housing

The diesel forklift's drive axle housing is firmly installed on the diesel forklift frame. Since the drive axle and the frame are rigidly connected, the drive axle will bear most of the weight when the forklift is picking up goods or transporting or stacking operations. In addition, there are also situations where the road is uneven and the fork load is uneven, so the drive axle will appear damage such as bending, breakage, wear of the bearing hole of the half shaft sleeve and wear of the journal of the half shaft sleeve.

(1) Inspection of drive axle housing bending. Before inspection, the flatness of the flat contact flange of the axle shaft and the hub end should be corrected first to eliminate the circular runout error of the end face. Then install the standard axle shaft on the drive axle housing, tighten the bearings, and test the center of the left and right axle shafts from inside the shell. position to determine whether there is bending. The difference between the two axes should not be greater than 0.75mm.

(2) When the bending of the drive axle housing exceeds the limit, it should be corrected. During correction, the correction deformation should not be greater than the original bending deformation, and the correction pressure should be maintained for a period of time to allow the axle housing to obtain a certain degree of plastic deformation. If the deformation is too large and the bending deformation is greater than 2mm, it can be corrected after preheating, but the heating temperature is not allowed to exceed 700°C. Cast axle housings are best protected from heat correction.
